6th Annual Active Workforce 5K Challenge FUN RUN 

Join us Thursday 31st May, 2012 at Crosby Lakeside Adventure Centre for the 6th Annual Active Workforce 5k Challenge FUN RUN; we're looking for teams of five to enter and fancy dress is welcome!

The route will be twice around the Crosby Marine Lake and you are welcome to run, walk or stroll. Many departments and sections use this event as a team building exercise. If you're interested in stepping up your game, click here for some great tips. Need some help to train? We've set up beginners running clubs all over Sefton and would love to work with you! Find the club closest to you.

The cost for entry is £15 per team, which equates to £3 per person to cover the basic costs of the event and teams/organisations. Participants are very welcome to raise money for their chosen charity. Prizes will be presented to the fastest male and fastest female and everyone who participates will receive a T-shirt and medal.

Bottled water will be provided and refreshments will be available following the race. Lakeside Bar and Bistro will be fully operational and open to purchase food and drinks.
