5 top Tips to Improve you Running
Here are a few simple tips to help get you active!
- Take the stairs instead of the lift and walk up escalators
- Walk round to see a colleague rather than telephone or email
- Go for a walk at lunchtime
- Park further away or get off the bus or train a stop earlier
- Get up and walk around when you are on the phone
- Invest in a pedometer and aim for 10,000 steps a day
- Snack on fruit, fresh or dried and aim for at least 5 portions of fruit and vegetables a day
- Leave the hoover under the stairs and sweep your floors
- Do some gardening
